Treatment Fees

Transparent Pricing

Dentist-2u is a private dental provider. Our fees are based on how a patient's care home fees are paid: if your stay is fully funded by the local authority, our Local Authority Fully Funded Plan applies; if you pay a top-up contribution towards your care, our Local Authority Partially Funded Plan applies; and anyone who self-funds their care, or who lives in their own residential property, pays our Private fees.

Emergency appointments requested outside scheduled visits incur a £60 call-out fee.

Good to know

Assessment, examination and consultation fees cover clinical time, advice and treatment planning, and are non-refundable once the appointment takes place. Treatment already carried out cannot be refunded, as dental care cannot be undone — we will instead offer a free review appointment and appropriate adjustments or repairs. Custom-made items such as dentures cannot be reused once impressions are taken or lab work begins.

Care Built Around You

We ensure every patient receives care that is safe, appropriate and aligned with their needs and preferences — involving patients, family members and care-home staff, and respecting the Mental Capacity Act 2005 at all times.

Patient Assessment

A thorough assessment covers medical history, medications, allergies, oral health needs and any communication or accessibility requirements.

Family & Care-Home Involvement

Family members and/or care-home staff are involved as appropriate and with the patient's consent, helping us understand needs, preferences and daily routines.

Explaining Treatment & Options

We give clear explanations of recommended treatment, alternatives, benefits, risks and costs, and take time to answer questions.

Consent to Treatment

Informed consent is obtained before any treatment — by the patient where they have capacity, or, where appropriate, in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005, always acting in the patient's best interests.

Ongoing Consent & Your Rights

Consent is an ongoing process. You may change your mind, ask questions, or withdraw consent at any time — we will respect your choices and support you throughout.
